Course Logistics & Schedule

• How many classes do I take in a week?

  You will have at least eight classes per month, which typically averages out to two classes per week. Your specific class schedule will be provided immediately upon enrollment.

• How long does it take to complete this course?

  The full beginner curriculum consists of 24 unique lectures delivered over three months. However, if you are enrolled in Beginner 3, the course runs for six months because the lessons are spread out over a longer period.

• When is the enrollment deadline, and how do I sign up?

  You can enroll at any time! Our curriculum is designed in a 24-lecture cycle, meaning you can jump in whenever you are ready and finish the full course in three months.

• Is there a long-term contract? Do I have to pay in full upfront?

  Not at all. Enrollment is handled on a month-to-month basis. There are no long-term contracts, and you are not required to pay for the full three months at once.

Teaching Method & Curriculum

• What is the level of the courses?

  We currently focus on Beginner (A1) levels. Our courses are designed for those starting from scratch or looking to solidify their foundational Korean skills.

• How does the class work?

  All lectures are conducted in English. For our intensive Korean lessons, we follow a proven 5-step structure:

  1. Introduction: An overview of the day’s learning objectives.

  2. Vocabulary & Quiz: Interactive sessions to master new words.

  3. Grammar & Speaking: Learning two grammar points per session with immediate speaking practice.

  4. Conversation Activity: Applying everything you’ve learned to a realistic dialogue.

  5. Closing: A brief wrap-up, a preview of the next lesson, and homework assignments.

• How is homework handled?

  Reviewing is essential for language retention. Assignments are given every Tuesday and Thursday and are due via email by Sunday. Most assignments take less than 20 minutes. You will receive personalized corrections and a detailed video explanation for each submission.

• Can I become fluent in 3 months?

  The goal of the KLC Beginner course is to reach the A1 proficiency level. This means you will be able to handle everyday situations, introduce yourself, ask and answer personal questions, and understand slow, clear speech. You can definitely achieve this solid foundation within three months.

• Do you offer intermediate or advanced classes?

  Currently, we specialize in beginner classes. However, we are excited to announce that Intermediate classes will launch in summer 2026.

• What happens after I complete the 3-month course?

  Congratulations! Upon completion, you will receive an official KLC Certificate of Completion. We highly recommend you move into our Intermediate course (opening Summer 2026) to continue their journey.
